Consistency can be pretty, but I would have a dreadfully hard time justifying replacing an amp for aesthetic reasons alone.
And that was my point.
I will admit that I did assume my 6000 was more powerful because it is roughly the same size as the 7125, but with less channels. But truthfully I don't really care about the power. The 6000 sounds great and I have no reason to replace it, other than my desire to have everything match. But aesthetics will always take a back seat to sound. Well... Almost always. I've seen some equipment that I just wouldn't buy because it was so ugly.
If I can find a 7125 at a ridiculous bargain price I'll pick it up and compare the two at home. Otherwise I will be sticking with the 6000.
