This has been an interesting thread for me to read because I too have the 990/7500 combination. What I find most gratifying is that the discussion of this "system" has now migrated as to how different program material sounds.

The goal of these components is to provide trouble-free performance that opens a window to the software itself, whether it is music or motion picture soundtracks. After set-up and calibration, if you no longer have to think about the hardware then we have accomplished our objective. Your positive comments mean a lot to us.
