That is kinda weird.

I have a 990/7700 combo and a wireless network. I also have a Squeezebox 3 that uses my wireless connection to access songs in my computer and Internet radio. The 7700 is on the bottom of the component rack and the Squeezebox is on the top. Never had a problem with either the Squeezebox or my laptop connecting to the network.
