I called and yes it is the latest firmware. I ordered on Monday the 18th and I'm waiting for shipping confirmation. Which gives me the weekend to unhook all the components from my custom made audio rack, sand it, poly it and prepare it for the upgrade. It will be complete when I can decide on a 42" plasma. I was looking at the Panasonic but the more I look the more confusing it gets. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I'll update when the 970 is hooked up.
