Both the KEF iQ and NHT Classic are certainly nice speakers and should work fine with the 1070. My recommendation for speaker shopping is always to find a way to listen to the speakers with material that you are very familiar with (in other words, take CD's or DVD's that you listen to a lot to a dealer and arrange to have an hour or more just to sit with the speakers and listen).
While looking at the
KEF and
NHT sites, one thing did catch my eye. I'm not sure what the price is on the
PSW2500 and
Classic Ten , but Outlaw's
LFM-2 is comparable in size to both, offers comparable power, and actually goes 3Hz to 5Hz lower than either sub (actually even lower than that, since the KEF and NHT are both rated at -3dB and the LFM-2 is rated at a more conservative -2dB). With a price tag of $300, the LFM-2 could save you money.
