Thanks to everyone who have contributed thus far. To answer some of the questions posed, I have an Atlantic Technology System T90, which is a 5.1 system. The LR and surround speakers are rated at 85dB and the center is rated at 88dB, all with 6 ohm impedance. They sound great with the 950/PA-5800, and I would hope that the 1070 would drive them just as well.
