I'm certainly very fond of my Paradigms, enough so that thoughts of trying out Outlaw's BLS have kept going onto the back burner (wife would really prefer bookshelves to towers), and the S6 is from the Signature line - a nice step up from my older Studios. There will be sonic differences between a B&W and a Paradigm. Personally, the B&W sound has not been a great fit for my tastes while the Paradigm sound has, so I'd probably end up going with the S6's if I were in your shoes. On the other hand, you have a familiarity with and fondness for the B&W sound (as does my father-in-law, who has also used KEF and Spendor in his two-channel system), so you may still prefer the B&W to the Paradigm. Certainly, if you can give the Paradigm's a listen, check 'em out.
