Hi all,

I just bought a outlaw 990 used and I have a question. I'm using class d amplifiers for all the outputs. I hooked a 2 channel amp to the front channels yesterday and at full volume it was only producing about 40 db of sound. The source was a rotel cd transport. I hooked the same amp to the preamp outputs on my computer and I was getting over 100 db of sound.

Now I haven't hooked the 990 to a tv yet and done any sort of configuring on it yet. I going to get some cable tomorrow to do that.

But what I want to know is, does this have to do with the fact that I haven't configured it yet?

The amp will produce 150 watts with about 3 volts peak to peak input.

Thanks,
Nick

Did the problem go away when you cofigured the 990 ?
