It seems to me that a cable capable of transmitting all of the data that the later HDMI formats can leaves a huge problem in terms of cables' cost. As it is now with the 990, you have your interconnects and various other wires. People pay a lot for their cables. But transmitting audio and video in a single cable for me makes me think that a cable that can do that equal to seperate interconnects would be rather expensive. thoughts?
