Help, I have had my 990/7125 running Paradigm CC-470, Studio 20s L/F and in wall and ceiling referance rears. My sub is a SVS PB10 in a Salamander cabinet. My ears are always sore ( thought I had tennitus). I have constintly made calibration adjustments manualy and auto to no success. also on the sub. recently swiched the CC-470 and installed my Paradigm CC-370 from the bedroom. Saw a softer sound and was better on the ears, my wife also noticed a better sound. Why does the CC-370 sound better than the more expensive CC-470? Would a Velodyne SMS-1 make the CC-470 sound right? If so, why would I have to spend $500.00 to make a more expensive speaker sound better? What is going on?
