I have my cable box running through Component Video 1. My OSD is set to on, and I do not see any OSD Messages either. Hasn't worked like that since I got it. I understand it won't work over the DVI interface, and don't use DVI switch anyways. Yes, I am on the latest code.

I see on page 10 in the manual that you must be using either Composite or S-Video. If it does work over component, it may switch out your video like it does when entering the setup menu.
