Well I'm sure it's dead. I tried the system reset and it did the same thing. Powered on for a second and then back off, nothing on the display. As for the OPR/SVC switch, it was definitely in OPR. I actually hadn't hooked anything up to it as the Xbox was already there for quite a while. I also tried to switch it to SVC and reapply the firmware. It got as far as Erasing and then would go no further no matter how many times I tried it.

I'll have to talk with Customer Service on Monday.
