One interesting note that I've been reading in the all of the iPhone hype is that the headphone jack is not a standard size. It is recessed enough into the body of the phone to require a special adapter to use regular headphones.

I would say if you desperately need to get your iPhone into your home system, that you're better off waiting till some 3rd party dock with an audio output is released. Give the companies about a month...
