So I can understand Outlaw's position on HDMI, and I see the availability of hdmi to DVI convertors, but has everyone forgot HDMI carries audio signal as well. From what I hear, if I go out today and buy a blu ray player, the only way to get true 1080p out of it is to use the HDMI out. Can I convert the hdmi to dvi and then maybe hook up an optical cable for the audio? Anyone have experience with this?
