Aux will work fine (mine currently uses an optical input for my Roku SoundBridge), but since you're like me and don't plan to use the front input you could also use Video5 if you need Aux for something else later. If I pick up a PS3 (which I may do next year), I'll probably run the HDMI and optical to my 990 and set Video5 up to use DVI2 and optical4 (or whatever optical input I connect it to).
