I just noticed the other day that inputs that I've given custom names are behaving as normal, but inputs that I left with the default names are now showing random garbage characters on the display when those inputs are selected. I can manually change the input's name and the garbage goes away, but that strikes me as rather odd.

Power surge (the unit is plugged into a big fat UPS)? Was it always that way and I just didn't notice? None of the above?

Has this happened to anyone else?

I too put custom names on some inputs, e.g., "audiotape" instead of "tape", but all my default names are normal. Strange - I hope you and/or Gonk and/or the Outlaws find the bug and how to exterminate it.
