Can someone tell me how to remove a Monster fiber optic cable from the input on the 990. I am pulling but it will not come out. I do not want to force it. The box says that it is "spring loaded", but no instructions. Are you guys sick of me, yet? thanks for the help!

Gentle pressure pulling straight out should do it. The fittings are plastic so no side to side or you'll break it.

It may be just a tight fit.

Oh, and please don't buy Monster cables anymore! There are many cheaper and just as good cables out there.

For optical cables, Out'aw's PDO is hard to beat: $20 for a 1.8-meter cable that's noticeably better made than the Monster and Better Cables opticals I've had.
