Ok. I would like a user-friendly PC interface (so that rules out the 500), but I don't need it to have RF. All the gear would be line-of-site, so IR would be just fine.

The 700 has IR and PC interface for $160
The 800 has IR/RF and PC interface for $215
The 850 (upgraded 800) is $190
The 950 is $429 (that's too much!)

So I guess I'd either go with the 700 or 850.
Too bad there's not a 750 that would be like the 850 but only have IR (no RF).
