I am also going to swap my 970 for a 990 and one of the reasons I leaned towards the 970 was because it was a better fit in the AV Rack I had just bought. The 990 will fit my rack but it will have to go on the top shelf of a 6-shelf rack; pretty high up there and will look kind of funny but now I have my eye on a nice new Salamander AV Rack and will move this one to my bedroom.

You have 30 days to swap Outlaw equipment right? I have emailed them about it and they said it was fine and to call them but I have not been able to find the time yet; how strict are they on the "30 day" policy? Hopefully they will let me go a day or two over since I have already contacted them about my intentions. The 970 is very nice but I want the user-assignable DVI & Component connections along with the better DAC's and also want the Second Zone now.
