I was thiking of using the 990 to set the crossovers for the other speakers but the higest crossover on the 990 would be 80HZ, and since the 990 doesn't have a separate crossover for the LFE channel its self use the subs built in to cut it off at 80Hz. Is this a bad idea? i was always under the impression that a sub works harder if the crossover is higher and has to cover a larger range than if it had a lower one (that it will work harder reaching the lower frequencies). Is this true or false? How do you fellow Outlaw owners set up your crossovers? do you use the built in one on your sub at all?
Thanks
