Has anyone noticed that with the 990 in PLIIX that the center channel receives all bass info regardless of the crossover? I was just wondering because I seem to be having this issue with the Sherwood
P-965.

I was calibrating my sub with sine waves starting at 10 hz to 60hz and my center was playing them all in DDPLIIX.- at least what it could. But it was trying to play everything.

The P-965's bass management was heavily revised for the 990 - I haven't noticed this behavior, but I'll have to double-check it to be sure.

I just received an email from Jeff at Sherwood:

"The center will not be silent. It should offer reduced output below 60
Hz. Output should be down 12 dB at 30 Hz and 24 dB at 15 Hz."

I have my P-965 crossover set at 60

So I guess I am mistaken(?) but the center is the only channel I am hearing other than the sub during my calibration tests. I will turn off the sub and see what the output is from the center alone.
