HiFi Remotes lists two Pioneer remote codes: 0059 and 0571. That's a little different from the 1050's manual (0525 and 0571), so you might give 0059 a try.

( HiFi Remotes can be a pretty handy site -- the 1050's remote is a UEI Catalyst 48 , which is a JP1 remote similar to the Radio Shack and One4All remotes.)
