Which DD format is decoded the best for rear center playback by the 1050?(6.1 mode) DD 5.1 (virtual 6th ch?) or DD-EX? To bad the 1050 will not create a 6th ch from DTS modes. I did not think that the 1050 did true EX decoding but to my ear it sounds like it adds more accuracy to rear ch L-to-R panning as sound passes through the CR.
The new Starwars DVD sounds amazing! DD-EX.
I only recently hooked up center rear CH, and do not seem to get much CR audio from 5.1 movies running in virtual 6.1 mode. I thought Pear Harbor DD5.1 would have made use of it but it did not seem to stand out like it did in S.W. DD.ex.

I read somewhere (maybe here) that if your DVD player has DTS decoding and 5.1 analog outputs you can input them into the Outlaw direct input and select 6.1 and get a rear channel output. I haven't tried it yet (all those cables!). Has anyone here?
