1. The 1050 has great bass management capabilities built-in. You can change the crossover point between the sub and the speakers at 20hz increments between 60hz through 120hz.

2. The 1050 gives you a sub trim capability can that you can use to control sub volume. It is accessible from the remote.

3. The 1050 offers two optical digital inputs plus one coaxial digital input.
