Gene, I just looked at this thread briefly (still reading through it). It appears to be partly due to the amp being used (the Samson S1000) and some receivers. Seems pretty isolated (a few Denon and Onkyo users, maybe some Yamaha users), and near the end of the thread there became some question as to whether many of the complaints were just incorrectly set up or people expecting the impossible. I wouldn't anticipate it affecting the 950.
