No big thing, and I may miss a few, but here are the oddities I've noted:

- The svideo switcher, for some folks, can cause image rolling, rumored to be clipping in the switcher circuit. Not huge, doesn't affect everyone and a lot of folks just use the 1050 for audio, using the video switcher in the TV anyway.

- The volume knob (not the remote, it seems fine) sometimes works properly, sometimes misses steps, if you spin it really fast it can sometimes even go backwards.

- Little user interface things, for instance, on the remote the first four sources are video1 video2 video3 and DVD, but when cycling through them on the front of the 1050 they're in a different order.

Nothing that would put me off the unit. The DPL2 wouldn't put me off either, probably, but is more serious than the above, with the switcher a close second.
