Been lurking here for many hours as of late. I think you guys have convinced me to go for the Outlaw 1050... maybe.

I currently have an old (to me--1998) reciever that works somewhat well, but am pretty disappointed with many aspects of it and am looking to upgrade perhaps in april or may. I was originally looking at the Denon AVR-3803 and other recievers in the $800+ range, but my recent order of a projector (Sony VPL-HS10) curbed that desire pretty quickly to a lower cost reciever. Little did I know that for $525 I could have a reciever that is actually comperable to (if actually slightly lacking compared to) things like the Denon AVR-3803! Well, this forum really has me convinced that this reciever would work well for me. The fact that there even IS a forum like this for Outlaw products makes me feel MUCH better about my order. (Heck, it was the great people over at AVS Forum that helped me solidify my decision about the Sony projector!)

My only hope is that Outlaw actually updates this model in the coming months or perhaps releases another model similar to this in some respects.

Sorry for the semi-pointless post, but I thought the board could use a bit of general praise!
