Well, you didn't mention how much time you invest in movies! I think that's where you would miss it. If you aren't a big movie buff who needs the surround environment to be truly happy (like many of us!), you probably will never miss it.

However, if you have a great HT, or plan to, and it's in your budget, get the DPL II.
