The only difference between the two (aside from number of channels) is power rating. If you have less efficient speakers, the 755 would do a better job, but for reasonably efficient speakers there should be no real sonic difference between the two amps. What speakers are you planning to use? Will you be setting up a 7.1 speaker system or 5.1?
