Pat, OFCCM is right, a Music Hall or Pro-ject turntable and some mint old LP's will (re)introduce you to analog in a way you've never heard it before! I've just traded up to the midpriced Pro-ject perspective table and BPS cartridge, and the sound just kicks my CD player's butt bigtime (Denon player, outboard DAC and tube line stage). A trip to our local use record store netted me over two dozen mint LP's for under $100. And the freshly pressed LP's using HD vinyl and modern cutting technology sound unbelievably fantastic! This isn't your father's "record player!" Hopefully the new 2150 will enhance 2-chanel/analog sound even further as compared to that from the 950 or other HT preamp/processor. If anyone from Outlaw is listening, is it too late to request the inclusion of a high quality headphone out to complement the high quality phono stage already planned? Just wondering....
