hey y'all-

I'm getting a 750 to go with my 950. Question: Is it cool to stack these units? Right now I am using a McIntosh 2125 (which will be for sale BTW) with the 950 and have them separated & a lot of space/air between. As I prepare the new cabinet setup I was just wondering about the "stackability" of these units regarding the heat & cooling.

thanks!

I'd try to keep at least an inch of space clear above the 750, and if possible a bit more than that. It's a class AB solid state amp with a total output of something like 825 watts - even with the substantial array of heat sinks provided, it needs some airflow to reject that heat, and setting the 950 directly on top would obstruct a significant share of the top vents.
