I have a 2910 (just got it ) and I think the receiver has the last say in speaker configuration but I just went ahead and adjusted speaker distance in the 2910 menu and left all the calibration levels at 0. When I did the SPl through the 2910 test tones everything was on par with my Sherwood pre/pro. Do leave all your speaker settings to 'Large' though on the 2900 so the receiver can do all its crossover magic.
