Does anybody know what design changes the 950 has went through since it's release?

I have read about the eprom being replaced, just wondering what other types of design changes it might have went through.

As for my purchase, within the next couple weeks...

I just purchased the Outlaw cables on Monday (Thanks Patriots) and received them today. These are nicely built cables, very much worth the money...

There's probably a thread or two somewhere outlining the evolution of the 950, but here's the recap:

• First pre-ordered units shipped in April or May 2002. Shipment suspended shortly afterward due to concerns about hiss.
• Analog circuit revisions released in September 2002 - "red dot" version. Remaining pre-orders shipped at this point with the changes included, older units updated or replaced are identified with a red sticker by the serial number.
• Further refinement to the analog circuits in December 2002 - "blue dot" version. All units shipped after 12/17/02 incorporate the changes. Older units that were refitted or replaced are identified with a blue sticker by the serial number.
• DTS-ES bug discovered in March 2003 and resolved with an E-PROM swap. All units shipped after late March included the change. Older units can have the chip swapped out.
