I checked on the "errornet" and found etronics who listed the Max5100 for I think it was $222 shipped to me from New York to Chicago...That is still a lot of money for me but after spending so much on stuff and the recommendations of my brother and gonk...well that was my decision...list on the Max5100 is $345 I believe so $202 plus shipping wasn't bad.
(I had looked for "floor samples locally and found the "older 1000+ my brother has for $200 plus tak so it was a wash for me and an easy decision on the new 5100)
