Is this the cable from Radio Shack you'd use

It's 6' long, which could be useful, but for the stacks of three amplifiers (see plenty of other threads regarding this
), all the extra wire might be messy.
I could make my own. Would you use this connector from Radio Shack
274-287 or
a similar but much cheaper jack from Parts Express And what wire would you recommend?
