Hi, Gonk. No, it is not interrupting the signal at the layer changes. I really do think it is a setup as opposed ot a hardware problem in the 950. I have, as mentioned above, a digital switch box in the loop which I was using when my first multi-format player was in the shop. I now have a new one, and when time permits I will pull the switchbox out of the loop. It is auto-sensing and I have a feeling that it is associated with the problem.

Will report back when solved. Thanks for the input!
