I would think that the Outlaw combo would perform AT LEAST as well as the Denon, plus you'll have the flexibility of separates.
I have A LOT of vinyl and the Outlaw 950 (with non-Outlaw Aragon amp) serves my collection very well. A tube-based preamp might offer a richer listening experience but -- if you're going solid-state -- I think the Outlaw is right in there for two-channel performance, particularly if you choose your outboard phono preamp carefully.
