I ran my 1050 with a pair of Concerto Home's (88db) for my mains and an original Solo (88db) on center for several months with no problems whatsoever. I ran a pair of Energy Encore surrounds and an an Energy Encore center in center surround position. I have my 1050 set for 8 ohm operation. It's got plenty of power to drive the Sonus Fabers.

To be fair I am no longer running the above config. I have since added two separate power amps to my system as I plan to move the 1050 into a bedroom system and pick up the 950 once it's released...
