I have an ICBM on order. It will handle bass management between an Onkyo TX-SR800 receiver and an Onkyo DV-SP800 universal player. I have the Athena Audition series speakers with a powered Athena sub. My question: The sub has a dial on the front with crossover points. The helpful folks at Athena have reccommended that I set the sub crossover dial at 40 (the mains have a published response range of 35-22k). Once I have the ICBM in place, where should I set the dial? Will the dial setting be bypassed entirely by the ICBM? Thank you for any advice. Heavyd

Since the ICBM will be handling your bass management, you would be best served by bypassing the crossover in the sub (which many powered subs allow by including a crossover bypass switch) or setting the dial on your sub as high as possible.
