Well being the New Shooter on the block!! Thanks to all for letting me into the circle. Heres my low down : I too like listening to loud music , movies and the ocassional freak out by my 2 kids when I can't figure something out. Here goes I looked every where for a speaker mount that didn't require me to drill into my B&W 600's. I found them with this mount. The bottom flanges squeeze the base of the speaker with a L bracket on both side of the speaker base. The L brackets are covered with a padded semi foam pad. The bases expand to about 10" wide and 10" deep. My B&W's are 7" wide and 8" deep. They hold the speakers crazy tight. I did take a piano wire from the wall hanging mount down to the base just to make sure they don't tumble. Two mounting holes so you can drive small lag screws into a stud or 2 dry wall screw in mollies with hardware. The cover plate snaps on and covers up nicely. As for movement they swivel 180 deg. side to side and 30 deg. up or down. The mounts are rated at 25 KGs and they probally could hold that. Color on mine are a cool grey blend with my drywall well. Man I couldn't have made myself any better or cleaner set up. Oh yea my bio. is I'm a Certified Bycycle Master Technician !! I work on bikes that cost as much as my whole audio system.
Thanks for all your support gonk my new 990/7125 rocks. Tom
