Look for Rane or Audio Control. They are the two companies that make excellent HT equalizers. I use the 5.2 channel Audio Control Bijou and am very happy with it.

However, I would suggest acoustic treatment first and use the EQ as a finishing touch to compliment the treatments. EQs are definately not end all solutions and can screw things up worse if not properly implemented.
