I believe that synthfreek runs Klipsh KG's, and judging from his comments here (from the speaker forum) he has really enjoyed them with his 1050. I have very much enjoyed my 1050 for music listening. Will the 1050 blow away the 2801? I don't really know, but I will say that I've been very pleased with mine. As for the Outlaw interconnects, they are spectacular -- I heartily recommend them.
