Well..if you want to get the most of your 2300's, the 755 is the way to go. They love power, and the more you give them, them more they open up.

My 2300 was alright with a Elite receiver, but once I put some decent power to them, it sounded like a much much bigger speaker.

I say pass up the 7100 and don't look back. 755 all the way

Uh Oh...I just realized you have the very tiny 1.2X's as surrounds. Their average impedance is around 5 or 6 when tested. Def tech doesnt bloat their power handling #'s like some so you might be safe with the 755 amp.

1.2x's handle what on paper? 125 watts? At 5 or 6 ohms the 755 will be doing 250 atleast. Do some research and make a decision. Good luck! and get back to us!
