Does anyone know the web address of the database used by Windows Media Player to extract CD information when a CD is played in one's computer?

I don't know about Windows Media Player in particular, but a lot of players in general use www.cddb.com as their data source and I'd suspect that's what Microsoft uses. There's also freedb.org, which is a replacement for cddb.com since cddb.com began imposing restrictions on usage a few years ago (see this note on freedb's site).
