I've been running my 7700/990 combo 12 years with relatively no heavy issues and years of enjoyable video/audio content. I know the 7700 has been decomm'd but mine is still going strong so I think I'll keep the beast. However, with all the new formatting and technology upgrades, its time to say goodbye to my ole-trusty 990.
