Remember to connect the 975 to another HDMI input on the TV to ensure a complete handshake path.The key is to make sure all of the inputs to the AVR42 are all set to use the same HDMI port that the AVR42 is connected to on the 975. That way when the switching happens the handshakes can take place for both audio and video. Lets say that you have a BDP, a PS4 and a cable box connected to the AVR42 inputs and the AVR42 is connected to the 975 Using HDMI 1. All of inputs to the AVR42 have to be configured in the 975 menu to use HDMI 1 for both Video and Audio, otherwise the handshake will fail and you will be missing audio, video or both.
