I run my 975 in stereo occasionally and have no complaints. Well I do have complaints but they are all related to the trade-offs I had to make to get my system to fit in my home theater (a.k.a The Basement).

Of course the usual caveats apply: Good speakers, good layout, good room acoustics, etc..
