That sounds like a good guess. ATI also appears to be making a 7500/7700 clone (minus the balanced connections) for Monoprice. Prices seem to be headed in the right direction for those that want a big class AB amp rather than going to one with a switching power supply. I wonder if that signals a shift in where the industry is headed?
