I use them for all my interconnects and HDMI cables. If you are experiencing dropouts on HDMI and the cable length is less than about 25 feet I would look at the connection itself. HDMI is real sensitive to losing its mechanical connection when you bump the cable or move equipment or the cabinet. I try to support my cables from above to lessen the pull on the cable. If you have thick stiff cables it is more of a problem.


Thanks for the suggestions. I've ordered a nice short Blue Jeans HDMI cable. Between what is likely a better quality cable than the generic Amazon Basics and the much shorter length, I'm hopeful the random dropouts will abate.
