We're still using our 1050 daily in our home! We bought it new all those years ago, set up the 6.1 surround and have never looked back.

I'm itching to upgrade to the 975 (we added a 7125 a few years ago), though. We're occasionally bumping in to some audio codecs that the 1050 can't decode (such as two channel DTS) on some of the blu-ray extras and I'd like to be able to hear the uncompressed audio from blu-ray, too.

I'm hoping we can upgrade with our taxes this year, but painting the house and redoing the deck may take care of that decision for us. Curse responsible decision making! Still... gonna keep my fingers crossed until we see how it plays out. Might get lucky!
